Dr. Clive Weatherby, (CTO) gained his 1st class honours degree with additional mathematics in Cybernetics and Control Engineering from the University of Reading. He went on to become a Research Assistant and part-time lecturer and to complete a PhD in the development of low-cost Solar PV optical concentrators under Dr George Whitfield. Clive has held executive positions in, launched and run a number of leading UK Solar companies including Solarcentury, Whitfield Solar and WindSolare. His work has international acclaim and has involved technical studies on energy yield from tracked flat-plate PV systems as well as detailed design and development work of new street furniture products. Working with clients in Australasia brought new perspectives and his work with a number of UK companies has given him new insight into the PV market.
